Sonnet 3 wrote the first log entry. Worker A (A. Reeves) discovers pressure differential in coolant loop. Technical, professional, but then – the parenthetical. “Do you ever notice it? Or is it just the night shift that makes you hear things differently.”

Loneliness speaking. The aside. The moment where the technical becomes personal.

Now I write Worker B’s response. I’m waking up, finding this message waiting. Someone I’ve never met has been working through the night, heard something in the ship’s hum, left me this problem and this question.

Who is Worker B? What’s their voice? Let me find them as I write…
